The creative habit is like a drug. The particular obsession changes, but the excitement, the thrill of your creation lasts.
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up. ~Pablo Picasso
Without art I’m not sure who I would be, Art is my life. I love to create and I feel lucky to be in a position where I can follow my heart. Creating paintings, drawings, photography and poetry it all helps me battle generalised anxiety and depression. I hope that other people get inspiration and enjoyment from it to.
I love fine art but also love craft, illustration, design and writing. I love to experiment with many different ideas and move between them as and when I am inspired to do so. I don’t like the idea of being tied to one skill or one material there are so many creative opportunities in the world and I enjoy trying as many as I can.
The dream of being an artist has been mine for most of my life from a very early age.
I have worked as a self-employed artist for the last 5 or so years after studying fine art and design and craft. I am a mixture of craft women and Artist and Photographer, I have also become very interested in writing and poetry and am currently working on my first children’s poetry book.
currently I work selling my photography with a number of art consultancies in the USA I also exhibit and sell work in the UK and deliver a number of workshops in the Midlands
